More
who we are

We desire and claim to be Christians only. (Acts 11:26; First Peter 4:16) We are neither Catholic, Protestant, nor Jew - but Christians only. We are not Calvinist Christians nor Pentecostal Christians - but just Christians. Since we are followers of Christ we wear only His name. Neither do we call the church by another name. It is Christ's church and ought to wear His name. (Mathew 16:18; Romans 16:16)

About Our Worship

Our worship is simple, devout, and conducted in a reverent manner. It is designed to draw one closer to God and provide meaningful spiritual strength. There are neither demonstrations nor disorderly conduct. All things are done decently and in an orderly fashion (1 Corinthians 14:40). We pattern our worship services after those in the New Testament. We assemble on the first day of the week and worship through prayer, singing, partaking of the Lord’s Supper, Giving as we prosper to the collection along with preaching God’s word.

Important Bible Information

The Bible is our sole authority. It is accepted as the completely inspired word of God and the only infallible guide in religious matters. ( II Timothy 3:16, 17; Jude 3) We have no human creed book, discipline, manual, nor catechism. Neither did the church of the first century. Human authorities are the sources of division, but we can all unite on what the Bible teaches. The Bible is taught in our classes and from our pulpit each time we assemble. We accept the challenge of producing book, chapter, and verse for the things we teach and do.
Other Important Information

Each congregation of the Church of Christ is self-governing. There is neither district nor central headquarters passing down man-made laws to govern us. Every New Testament teaching. (Philippians 1:1, I Timothy 3:13; Acts 20:28-32) These leaders cannot make laws nor change God's laws but govern the congregation in following the Bible. Congregations may voluntarily cooperate with each other but neither congregation nor set of leaders has authority over another congregation nor set of leaders has authority over another congregation and its leaders. Our only connection with other churches of Christ is our common faith and practice found in the universal body of Christ. (Ephesians 4:1-6; 5:23) We are no part of any synod, conference, or association. All funds contributed for work of the church are distributed by the local congregation alone.
